Hats Off To Enoch Elementary!

Enoch Elementary School was named A Distinguished Title I School from Utah for the second time in three years. As a parent this is very comforting to know that my child is attending a school with such a hard working faculty. Kaylee has had a great teacher every year she has attended school there. This year she has had Mrs. Jenson and she really is the greatest teacher ever! She always goes above and beyond and that truly amazes me. When I work in the class as a helper I am always impressed with Mrs. Jenson and unbelievably grateful she is Kaylee's teacher, I think Kaylee and I both will be sad when this year ends.

To celebrate this great honor the school had a parade. The kids all wore hats and walked around the school, the parents stood on the streets around the school and cheered as the kids walked by. It was fun and the kids were very proud(so were the parents)! THANKS ENOCH ELEMENTARY!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter, my sister Jill and her kids came to visit. It was a nice week Jill came for her birthday and brought news that her and Kevin were having a baby boy! yah! I would be nice if my sister Krista and her family could have come we miss them! We stayed so busy doing things and chasing kids that on Saturday night I almost forgot to help the Easter Bunny put out the Easter baskets. I guess I'm not a good bunny helper.

Cooper

I know I comment a lot on what Cooper says but, seriously that kid is funny. Monday night I had the garage door open cause I was cleaning out the car, then I propped open the door to the house so I could carry the car seats back to the car. While I was finishing up our neighbors cat chased a mouse right into my house and under my stove. Yah! Well Jeff put out some traps for me. Well I forgot that they were there, and the next morning while I was getting ready I could hear Cooper crying, and I ran out to see what the problem was. I asked him and he told me he got caught in the kid trap. I said what kid trap and he pointed to the mouse trap. I being the good mom that I am I started laughing so hard that he started crying again. I pulled myself together and explained that it wasn't a kid trap it was a mouse trap, and then he wanted to know if it wasn't a kid trap then why did it have peanut butter on it. I guess I should be lucky he used his finger instead of his tongue.

This is my LIFE!!!!

For those of you who can't read this, basically the mom has spent the day balancing the checkbook, paying bills, grocery shopping, sorting kids clothes, organizing drawers and closets. She is feeling pretty proud of herself until she sees the family room. On the days she feels like she has accomplished the most...it looks like she hasn't done a thing. Sound familiar?
